For brushing plastics & wood, and for removing rust and oxide build-up from steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
The Tomcat 150mm Nylon Wheel Brush is ideal for use on plastics and wood, removing rust and light burrs from steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Abrasive nylon also delivers a softer brushing effect compared to wire brushes, making it great for achieving a rustic effect when brushing on soft timbers.
The 180 abrasive grit is impregnated within the length of the nylon filament. The filaments then act like flexible files – deburring, cleaning and edge blending as they wipe. As the nylon wears, new abrasive grit is constantly exposed to your work piece. Please note: before using a new nylon brush, run the brush against a rough surface for about 10 seconds – this will expose the grit ready for your project.
Use with M14 Drill Adaptor BDBPA for use in a drill.
