Brumby Multishine Polishing Compound (Light Blue)

For a high gloss finish on most plastics, fine metals and diecast articles.

Brumby Multishine Polishing Compound (Light Blue)

The Brumby Multishine Polishing Compound is ideal for achieving a high gloss finish on most plastics, silver, gold and die cast articles when in use with a Josco Loose Leaf Calico Buff.

Different metals have varying characteristics, and to achieve the best possible results it is essential that the correct polishing compound and buff are selected for the job.

Directions for use:

  1. Most buffs have a tapered centre bore, and
may be mounted on the left or right of your
    grinder using a tapered spindle.
  2. Select the correct buffs and compounds
for your job. Initial cutting can be done with a
fastcut compound and either a stitched sisal
or a stitched rag buff followed by a polishing
compound and a loose leaf buff. For best
results, never use different compounds on
the one buff – keep a separate buff for each
    compound.
  3. Apply the compound across the face of the
rotating buff for a few seconds, taking care
not to apply too much compound which will
overload the buff. It is far better to apply a little
compound more frequently than to over dress
    the buff.
  4. After applying the compound to the buff,
bring the work piece into contact with the buff
and with light pressure, move back and forth
    across the job.
  5. After polishing, remove any compound
residue left on the work piece with mineral
turpentine or methylated spirits, or warm soapy
    water.
